I bought a used car that came with vinyl seats. That was the "upgraded" package apparently. Why someone thinks sweaty, sticky vinyl is an upgrade from cloth, is beyond me, but the car was otherwise perfect for me, so I got it. As I drove it home from the dealership, I felt my back getting damp from the non-breathable seat, and swore a solemn oath to do something about it as soon as I got home. So I ordered these seat covers, for the front seats only. They sort-of match the lime green color of the car, even. Definitely an upgrade from the nondescript gray vinyl.
The covers took a bit of effort to install. I already had experience doing that in the past with a different car I used to own, so didn't really need the manual to figure it out. The most difficult part was to physically reach under the seats and to tighten all the straps well enough to keep the covers from sliding around.
